Wrongful Death Suit Filed For Work Place Electrocution | Toledo, Ohio wrongful death lawyer
Korey Schall was working as a foreman for Crane Grain Services. He was 23 years-old and the father of a young child.
On August 21, 2009 he was working on a farm assembling a grain bin. Flexible cord that was in use at the time was improperly wired and because of this, Mr. Schall was electrocuted. He died as a result of his injuries.
The lawsuit names Nebraskaland electric for failing to provide adequate electrical safety testing, failure to inspect and supervise all electrical cords and components, and failure to provide a 240 GFCI receptacle outlet.
Representatives of the estate say that that the damages they are seeking are “for the exclusive benefit of the child.” The amount of money in the lawsuit has not been specified, but the family has stated that they simply want a fair, reasonable and just amount.
