Last November 2 year-old Lukas Tang fell to his death from a third-level luxury box at the Staples Center just after the game ended. His parents have now filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the Staples Center alleging that the unsafe condition and dangerous design were to blame for the child’s death.
Tang fell between 30-50 feet and suffered massive head injuries. He died at the hospital. His parents are seeking compensation as well as a revision of the barrier in the luxury seats so that this type of accident will not happen again.
