Woman Involved In Fatal Has History Of Driving Citations | Toledo Ohio wrongful death lawyer
A woman who was involved in a crash that killed another driver was convicted on drunken-driving charges at least two times in the past, police said Wednesday.
Sarah Renko, 24, was killed in the crash which occurred on Tuesday night on Lake Road, just south of state Route 37, 10TV’s Chuck Strickler reported.
Authorities said that Renko, a single mother, was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
Witnesses to the crash tried to help Renko, but could not reach her because her car was so badly mangled, Strickler reported.
The driver of the other car was not immediately charged. The Ohio State Highway Patrol was awaiting blood tests to see whether alcohol was involved in the crash, Strickler reported.
