The lawsuit is seeking $24 million in damages for the loss of two sisters ages 18 and 13. The case states that Illinois Trooper Matt Mitchell was on-duty and talking on his cell phone and e-mailing while he was driving. He traveling over 100 mph while responding to a traffic crash and just before the crash it is estimated that he was traveling at 126mph. Mitchell claims that he was cut off by a white car, but that car has not been found.
