Fatal Two Car Accident Kills 15-year-old Boy

The Charles E. Boyk Law Offices sends their condolences to the family of a15 year-old boy who died in a two vehicle crash on the interstate.

The fatal accident happened when 16-year-old Zachary Roy was driving a Chevy Tahoe south on the Interstate with five teenage passengers. The tire on the rear of the vehicle separated. Roy lost control of the Tahoe and hit a 2012 Mazda, driven by Ronald D’Haeseleer.

The crash caused both vehicles to go off the left side of Interstate. The Tahoe flipped over several times, the Mazda continue to travel off the left grass shoulder coming to rest in the woods.

15-year-old Brandon Fritz was thrown from the Tahoe and killed. Roy and the remaining four passengers, Lucious McKay, Dymond Thomas, Michael McCauley and Alexander Hartfield were seriously injured and transported to the Hospital.

D’Haeseleer and his passenger, Alexander D’Haeseleer only suffered minor injuries.

Police are still investigating the fatal accident and do not believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.

Off Duty-Police Officer Killed In Head On Crash

The Charles E. Boyk Law Offices sends their condolences to the family of 29-year-old Mount Vernon police officer Reginald Velez who was killed in a head-on crash on the interstate.

Velez was driving south on the northbound lanes of the Interstate when he crashed into a semi-truck.

The impact of the crash caused his Lexus to burst into flames.

A Young Woman Was Killed When She Jumped From A Moving Vehicle

Joseph Aloisio was driving south on the interstate when his passenger 21-year-old Erica Moul jumped from the moving vehicle.

Aloisio pulled over immediately after Moul jumped out the car.

According to reports, State Police charged Aloisio with driving under the influence.

Moul was pronounced dead at the scene.

State Police are investigating the fatal accident.

Woman found dead on the Interstate

The Charles E. Boyk Law Offices sends their condolences to the family of 22 year-old Nicole Follmer who was hit and killed while walking on the Interstate.

She was found when a Police officer making a u-turn spotted the body on the guardrail.

Recent reports say she was hit by an unknown vehicle that unfortunately, didn’t stop.

Before she began walking on the interstate, Follmer was in a fight in the parking lot of Chili’s restaurant and was taken to the hospital around 5 p.m. with un-reported injuries. Police believe that she left the hospital at 6:45 p.m. before to being cleared by a doctor.

It can be assumed that Nicole was trying to return to the Chili’s parking lot to get her truck. The hospital was less than a mile from the restaurant.

Police are asking for help in finding the person that caused this tragic accident.

One Person Was Killed In A Multi-Vehicle Accident

19-year old Dairon Perez was driving in a 1999 Isuzu truck when he lost control of his car and hit the center concrete divider after his rear tire blew out. His car stopped sideways in the northbound lanes of the Interstate.

The driver of a 2002 Mitsubishi sedan, whose name was not released, changed lanes in an attempt to avoid hitting Perez and hit the left side of a 2006 Dodge Charger driven by 26-year-old Anderson Regis. The Mitsubishi was then hit by a 2002 Ford pickup truck, driven by John William Tiernan.

The driver of the Mitsubishi, was pronounced dead at the scene. The two passengers in the Mitsubishi 48-year-old Claudia Beatriz Segura Cadena 50-year-old Hernan Jimenez, were seriously injured and transported to Delray Community Hospital.

20-year-old Merlin Moreno Silva, the passenger in the Isuzu and Perez were seriously injured and transported Bethesda Memorial Hospital. Regis was also injured and Tiernan was not reportedly injured.

Highway Patrol is investigating the fatal accident.
