18, of Toledo, was identified by police as the person that was shot at 11:05 p.m. in the 4000 block of Airport Highway. Mr. Gott was shot in the back of the hand as he ran from the scene of a fight during an event at the Toledo Party Hall. An arrest warrant has been issued for the 17-year-old who is thought to have shot Mr. Gott. Mr. Gott was taken to UTMC for care.

Nursing Director Thinks She was Target of Shooter

Ellen Cervellon, director of the nursing program at Oikos University fells as though she was the gunman’s primary intended target after she rejected his repeated requests for a refund of his tuition. However, Cervellon was not on campus on April 2, 2012 when her former student One Goh, 43, came looking for her. Goh murdered seven people during his rampage.

Cervellon feels guilty for the murdering of her students. She said, “Every single of those students were going to be an excellent, excellent nurse. They’re in my heart, and they always will be.”

Oakland Police Chief Howard Jordan confirmed that Cervellon was indeed the apparent target of One Goh. Goh has been charged with seven counts of murder and three counts of attempted murder, plus a special circumstance allegation of committing multiple murders that could make

Goh acknowledged going to Oikos University of Monday with a .45-caliber handgun and four magazines of ammunition. He also admitted to kidnapping a woman and forcing her into a classroom at gunpoint. In addition, he confessed to shooting and killing several people inside the classroom, before taking one of the victim’s car keys and fleeing the scene in the victim’s car. Goh was arrested an hour later at a supermarket a few miles from campus.

Cervellon said that Goh had dropped out of the nursing program at the school around November but returned numerous times asking her for a full refund. Goh became angry when she informed him that the school could not refund all of his money because he had attended almost half of the program. During previous meetings with Cevellon, Goh admitted that he felt as though his other classmates were picking on him.

Parents of Man Killed By Police File For Wrongful Death | Fremont, Ohio wrongful death lawyer

A Fremont man was shot and killed in his home by poilice recently. Bryan Jones was 26 and had passed out on his parents’ couch. His parents had called the police and asked them to come help as they were “seeking help for their son.” Mr. Jones had been drinking that night.

At around 11:30 that night the police entered the Joneses home. Two flash bang devices were detonated  and then two deputies fired their weapons, striking Jones at least four times. The shooting is being investigated.

The suit that was filed  with the U.S. District Court and it claims that the deputies that shot Bryan Jones were incompetent and reckless. The case is filed against Sandusky County, the board of commissioners, Sheriff Kyle Overmyer and the deputies Jose and Mario Cavillo. The parents are seeking $10 millio in compensatory damages, $10 million in punitive damages and the attorney fees.
