A woman was killed at the Salt Lake City International Airport recently. She was walking in the crosswalk toward the car rental area when she was struck by a vehicle. The wrongful death claim says that the driver of the vehicle was negligent and that aiprot officials ignored the dangerous traffic situation. Previous to this incident an airport employee had warned the airport about the dangerous traffic situation. The complaint also states that the airport chose to ignore this warning and therefore they are at fault for the incident that occured.

Around 3:00 am the morning of September 26 Latonya Shegog was walking along State Route 2 in Ottawa County when she was struck by a car near Camp Perry. Latonya was 38 years old and died at the scene of the accident. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating this accident. Additional details and the name of the driver have ot yet been released to the public.
