According to the police report, a Monroe County woman trying to get to her mailbox was hit by a car last night. The accident took place on Milan-Oakville Road just west of Wanty Road in London Township.

The report stated that Kandi Bock was rushed to St. Joseph Mercy hospital in Ann Arbor where she was pronounced dead. The driver and passenger of the vehicle were not injured. Police also noted that alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the fatal accident.
