Mesothelioma Wrongful Death Case Filed In Ohio | Toledo, Ohio wrongful death lawyer
The first Mesothelioma wrongful death case in Meigs County has just been filed with the Common Pleas Court. It was filed by Charles Valentino on behalf of his wife, Margaret Valentino. She passed away in August of 2009 only two months after she had been diagnosed with the rare, aggressive form of cancer. This form of cancer is almost always caused by exposure from asbestos although it takes about 15-40 years to manifest in a victim after they have been exposed to it. Mrs. Valentino worked as a nurse from the late 60’s through the early 70’s.
The case states that during her time of working at these hospitals she was exposed to asbestos and asbestos products. The lawsuit names 26 co-defendants alleging negligence, liability for illness and death, breach of warranty, product liability, conspiracy, concealment, and willful misconduct by the companies responsible Mrs. Valentino’s exposure to asbestos and death.
