Donald Wright, 43, was killed during a Tuesday accident in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 70, according to the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office.

The accident is being investigated by the Ohio State Highway Patrol. It was reported just after 4 p.m. Tuesday. It took crews more than 4 hours to clear up the accident.

An autopsy for Wright is scheduled for Wednesday.

According to patrol troopers at the scene, it appears that Wright, a truck driver, did not notice that traffic had slowed because of minor accident up ahead. The cab of his truck slammed into the back of another tractor-trailer pinning him inside. He had to be extracted from his truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene, which was near mile marker 27, a coroner’s official said.
