Fatal Highway Crash, Cooper Tire Is To Blame | Bowling Green, Ohio wrongful death lawyer

September 9th, 2010 Author:

According to an article written on the Jere Beasley Report, last year in Florida there was a fatal car accident involving eight high schoolers. The accident happened on the interstate highway on the last day of school. The investigation showed that the left rear tire’s tread on the Ford Explorer separated. This separation caused the vehicle to roll. The tire on the vehicle was a Cooper Cobra.

There was no evidence of the tires not being fully inflated or that there were any nails in the tires. They had only been replaced two weeks earlier at a Cooper distributor. There have been many lawsuits filed against Cooper Tire & Rubber Co.

This was not the first time a fatal crash happened because of these tires, Cooper still has not corrected the safety issues with this tire.
