Child suffers wrongful death after car seat ejection | Ohio child wrongful death lawyers
A four-month-old boy suffered wrongful child death after the car seat he was riding in was ejected during a rollover car accident, according to a recent report by the Jere Beasley Report.
The Montana Supreme Court ruled that Evenflo, the car seat maker, was liable for the ejection and therefore the child’s tragic death, because its plastic seatbelt hooks were defective and prone to fracturing.
The family of the baby who lost his life was awarded $6.7 million in compensatory damages.
