Michigan truck company pays $18 million after trucking accident

A Michigan trucking company paid $18 million earlier this year to three families who lost their loved ones during a tragic trucking accident in June 2006.

 

The driver of the truck, who was on Valium at the time of the accident, allegedly fell asleep at the wheel, causing him to rear-end a car carrying four women on their way to a wedding. Three of the women suffered wrongful death after the trucking accident.
