A drunk driver hit and killed a bicyclist

49-yeat old Gregory Loper was riding his bicycle when 22-year Brett Truskin, driving a 2011 Toyota Rav4, crashed into him head-on.

Truskin then ran into four parked cars before hitting another vehicle and injuring the driver. The driver’s name was not released.

Truskin tried to flee the scene of the accident but was held by a witness until Police got there.

Loper was rushed to Hahnemann University Hospital where he died from his injuries.

Truskin faces charges of DUI and involuntary manslaughter in the fatal accident.
