Massachusetts gun-maker Kahr Arms has agreed to pay $600,000 to the families of a man who was killed and another who was injured by a gun which was allegedly stolen from the company.

The wrongful death lawsuit states that Danny Guzman, 26, was killed outside of a nightclub in 1999 and another man was hurt in the incident. The gun that was involved in the shooting was allegedly stolen by an employee of Kahr Arms, who had a criminal record, and later sold. The gun was stolen by employee Mark Cronin before it had a serial number stamped on it and sold to Robert Jachimczyk for a gram of cocaine.

The Guzman family will receive 70% of the settlement while Maisonet, the injured, will receive 30%.
